Thirty years after its foundation by Yehudi Menuhin, Live Music Now continues to fulfill his dream. We organise around 3000 participatory performances and workshops each year throughout the UK. Audiences include disabled people, elderly people, children with special needs, prisoners, hospital and hospice patients and those in remote areas. 300 young professional musicians – some of the best in the UK benefit from performance opportunities and training towards career development.

RIVERBANK
A small dedicated team of volunteers has cleared all of the planning and
environmental hurdles to set the scene for building a performing and visual arts
centre in Marlborough. Kennet District Council will provide the site. This much
needed cultural centre will be set by the Water Meadows on the banks of the River
Kennet.
Riverbank is for everyone and you will be able to experience touring theatre,
cinema, live popular music, amateur dramatics, education and theatre workshops as
well as classical music. For the business community there will be conference and
business presentation facilities. The spacious foyer area will provide an
attractive bar for pre-show and interval drinks.
Kennet Valley Arts Trust is now in negotiations with a potential investor and is
developing a robust programme to bring arts events to all sections of the community.
This is a very exciting venture and one for all the communities of Marlborough and
the surrounding areas.

Devizes Festival
Caryl Hughes soprano, won a scholarship at 2005 National Eisteddfod, in 2006 was a finalist in the Welsh Singers’ competition and also joined the Royal Academy Opera.Joseph Middleton accompanying her, won a scholarship to the Royal College of Music in 2003 as a post graduate accompanist and graduated with Distinction and awarded the Academy’s highest post graduate qualification.
